The Arena di Verona in Italy, the third largest Roman amphitheater still in existence, presents its 2019 summer season of opera opening in June. The Arena does not disappoint. It is renowned for its superb acoustics and for staging large-scale productions. La traviata
The opera in three acts by Verdi set in Paris in the 19th century is the story of a beautiful courtesan who falls in love, but meets an unfortunate end.
June 21 - September 5, 2019

Il trovatore
