Amsterdam: Het Muziektheater

The Muziektheater, home of?De Nederlandse Opera,?Dutch National Ballet and the Holland Symfonia is part of a building complex called 'Stopera', which also houses the Amsterdam city hall.

Because of a number of fits and starts, building the Stopera took 60 years from when it was first planned in 1915. The Muziektheater officially opened in September of 1986.
