New European Hotels to Open in 2011

London Syon Park Hotel
This Waldorf Astoria Collection hotel sits at the edge of the Syon House estate, which has served as the country home of the Duke of Northumberland for 400 years. From private balconies, rooms will overlook pastoral gardens and reflecting pools. Recently, an ancient Roman settlement was unearthed on the site of the hotel — fragments of pottery, coins and jewellery, burial sites and a Roman road. The hotel plans for the Museum of London to curate and showcase the finds.


The Corinthia Hotel London
Originally a Victorian-era Grand Hotel, the new Corinthia Hotel London will feature London's largest royal suite along with seven suites, served by their own elevators, and offering views of London. Famous British musicians, inventors and writers inspired the design of each suite. The hotel will also feature a music-inspired bar. In the salon, a library of over 25,000 videos from the performing arts and movie industry will help clients can choose how they want their hair and makeup to be styled.


W Paris-Op?ra

This opening marks the deubut of W Hotels in France. The hotel will be situated near the Garnier Opera House and Galeries Lafayette department store in a 19th century Haussmann building. True to the W brand of ultra-chic design, the W Paris Op?ra will feature 90 fully wired guest rooms with state-of-the-art technology and entertainment systems. Suites are designed like lofts, with breathtaking views of the Op?ra, fireplaces, white marble bathrooms and oversized dressing rooms. Opening date now set for January 2012.


St Pancras Renaissance London

This soon-to-be renovated hotel next to St. Pancras rail station first opened in 1873 by Queen Victoria. With its red façade, it is set to become one of London's most iconic hotels. Many of its original features have been preserved including its grand staircase,?as well as original metalwork, gold leaf ceilings, and hand-stencilled wall coverings.


Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam

Situated on a beautiful Amsterdam canal, the building of the Sofitel Legend has housed the Amsterdam Town Hall for centuries. All rooms will have their own unique style, with views of the canals or the interior courtyard. Additionally, butler and limousine service will be offered.


Grand Hotel Villa Cora Florence

Comprised of three separate buildings surrounded by a beatifully landscaped garden, the Grand Hotel Villa Cora has had a distinguished list of guests from emperors and princes to artists such as Tchaikovsky. The suites and rooms each feature an individual style inspired by the guest who once stayed there.


Mandarin Oriental Paris

Located on rue Saint-Honor?, surrounded by haute couture boutiques and steps from the Louvre right in the historic center, the hotel will be housed in a 1930's art deco building, combining historic, natural and elements of the Far East. The hotel's rooms and suites are said to be among the largest in the city.


Waldorf Astoria Berlin

Waldorf Astoria's first hotel in Germany will be housed in the Zoofenster building and located in the center of Berlin next to the famous memorial church the Kaiser Wilhelm Ged?chtniskirche, and the famous avenue Kurf?rstendamm known as Ku'damm.
