Spend 4 days in Amsterdam, walking over quaint bridges and experiencing the storied past of this Dutch city. Amsterdam was founded as a fishing village around the 13th century. It later grew as a center of commerce developing the architecture that still exists today.

Your Amsterdam trip package begins with a private transfer from the train station or airport to a chic, boutique hotel near Amsterdam's Museum Quarter. The next morning, you'll learn about the history and cultural life of Amsterdam through your private guide. You'll visit the quarter of Jordaan founded in the 17th century by French and Italian immigrants. You'll also see picturesque courtyards, historic pubs and cafes as well as canal houses. In the afternoon, enjoy priority access to Anne Frank House, where a young Jewish girl, Anne Frank, and her family hid from the Nazis during the Second World War.

After a stop to taste some traditionally made food at a cheese farm, you'll visit the picturesque villages Edam and Zaanse Schans, with its windmill and wooden shoe factory, and continue to Volendam and Marken, fishermen's villages along the former Zuidersee.
