Giselle in 3D - Movie Theaters

On July 12, 2011, the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia presents Giselle in 3D at movies theaters worldwide. The 3D showing of Giselle gives an intemate look into the exquisite dancing of the performers.

Starring Natalia Osipova and?Leonid Sarafanov, Giselle?is the story of betrayal and redemption as a village girl who falls in love with a prince disguised as a peasant. This production marks the first ballet to be shown on 3D movie screens.
