Movie buffs and Shakespeare fans traveling to London are in for a treat this spring. In London starting this March, actor Ian McKellen, star of many Shakespeare adaptations, as well as the Lord of the Rings and X-Men films, will host tours of locations where the 1995 movie "Richard III" was filmed. This special tour is part of the British Film Institute's "BFI Presents Shakespeare on Film" program, marking 400 years since Shakespeare's death.
BFI is dedicated to restoring and preserving film and television culture in the UK. Ian McKellen's tour will take fans to shooting locations at London's St Pancras station and Battersea power station. The tour will also feature screenings of movie adaptations of Shakespeare's celebrated works.
